Aurora FC is pleased to partner with Game Day Sports Therapy to support the sport performance and sports medicine needs of our Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) athletes.

Through this partnership, our OPDL players receive access to a comprehensive range of performance and health services led by Milad Mohib and his team. These services include soccer-specific athletic development, injury prevention, rehabilitation, nutrition education, and overall athlete wellness.

The Game Day Sports Therapy team brings extensive experience working with soccer athletes and provides an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to supporting player health and performance.

We are proud to welcome Milad and the Game Day Sports Therapy team to the Aurora FC Stinger family.

Athletic Rehabilitation & Performance Staff

Milad Mohib

Dr. Milad Mohib graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Kinesiology in 2010 and later earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2014.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences with a Neuroscience minor at the University of Guelph, and plans to apply to the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences External Residency Program.

His academic research includes a four-year prospective study documenting injury rates among Ontario provincial and national youth soccer players, published in the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association in 2014. His current graduate research focuses on the effects of central sensitization on joint dysfunction.

During his chiropractic studies, Dr. Mohib worked at Sports Centres Injury Rehabilitation Inc., a multidisciplinary clinic responsible for supporting provincial and national soccer training programs. His work included rehabilitation design, athlete management, and sideline medical coverage at regional, provincial, and national competitions.

Dr. Mohib currently serves as the Clinic Co-Director at Athletic Rehabilitation & Conditioning (ARC) in Aurora, Ontario.

He continues to support the soccer community as a strength and conditioning coach and medical provider for multiple soccer organizations, including youth and high-performance programs. His experience also includes coverage for teams in the Canadian Soccer League, FC Barcelona Escola camps, and Rugby Ontario.

Dr. Mohib has also been an active player in the Aurora soccer community, previously competing with the Aurora Hearts men’s team.

Our medical team provides professional sideline coverage to assess and manage injuries during games and training sessions, ensuring prompt care and safe return-to-play decisions.

Sport performance staff design age-appropriate programs focused on strength, speed, mobility, and injury resilience while considering each athlete’s stage of development and workload.

Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation services are tailored to the physical demands of soccer, addressing the root cause of injury while supporting safe recovery and reducing the risk of re-injury.

Sport Science & Athlete Education

Aurora FC athletes benefit from educational resources that support long-term development, including nutrition, recovery strategies, mental performance, and overall athlete wellness.

Return-to-Play Programming

Athletes returning from injury follow a structured progression of strength training, sport-specific drills, and conditioning exercises to safely re-enter training and competition.

Aurora FC’s OPDL Sport Science model is designed to support the complete athlete by combining performance, health, recovery, and education within one integrated system.
